Rimjhim’s Lead Pair Won Most Popular TV Jodi With 58.9%

RIMEER, the lead pair of Rimjhim – Choti Umar Bada Safar, took 13,257 of 22,505 verified votes.

More than everyone else combined

Sixteen jodis were on the ballot for Most Popular TV Jodi at IFTA 2026. One of them took more votes than all the others combined.

RIMEER (Yashika Sharma & Himanshu Awasthi, Rimjhim – Choti Umar Bada Safar) won with 13,257 of 22,505 verified votes, 58.9%. The runner-up, HEEWAB (Jasmeet Kaur & Syed Raza Ahmed, Tu Juliet Jatt Di), got 13.2%. The winner’s share was 4.5 times the runner-up’s.

ISHRAJ (Pati Brahmachari) was third with 7.3%. The pairs from the other 13 shows shared the remaining 20.6%.

Who decided it

Every IFTA vote is OTP-verified, one per WhatsApp number per category, and every voter’s age and gender is recorded at sign-up. So this is not a survey sample. It is the full count of who voted.

Women cast 19,094 of the 22,505 votes (85%). RIMEER won 60.2% of women’s votes and 51.2% of men’s.
Voters under 25 cast 77% of all votes. The biggest single group was voters aged 18–24 (11,651 votes).
Women aged 12–17 were RIMEER’s strongest group: 76.0% of their 5,250 votes went to RIMEER.
76% of RIMEER’s votes came from women under 25 (10,018 of 13,257).

RIMEER led in every age group with at least 30 voters.

Same winner, different second choices

RIMEER won with women (60.2%) and with men (51.2%). Below the winner, women put HEEWAB second (13.6%) and men put ISHRAJ second (12.1%).

SaChi: 1.7% of women’s votes, 7.7% of men’s, 4.5 times as popular with men.
MAHER: 4.2% of women’s votes, 2.1% of men’s, about twice as popular with women.
ISHRAJ: 6.5% of women’s votes, 12.1% of men’s, about twice as popular with men.

Across IFTA 2026

This was one of six wins for Rimjhim – Choti Umar Bada Safar across the nine Television categories. Its two leads also won individually: Yashika Sharma (Actress in a Lead Role) and Himanshu Awasthi (Actor in a Lead Role).
