Who decided it

Every IFTA vote is OTP-verified, one per WhatsApp number per category, and every voter’s age and gender is recorded at sign-up. So this is not a survey sample. It is the full count of who voted.

  • Women cast 1,163 of the 1,812 votes (64%). Prakash Raj won 28.6% of women’s votes and 9.2% of men’s.
  • Voters under 25 cast 57% of all votes. The biggest single group was voters aged 18–24 (770 votes).
  • Women aged 12–17 were Prakash Raj’s strongest group: 40.4% of their 240 votes went to Prakash Raj.
  • 69% of Prakash Raj’s votes came from women under 25 (271 of 392).

The age split is sharp. Prakash Raj led among voters under 25. From 25 up, Panchayat took over: Chandan Roy led voters aged 25–34, and Faisal Malik led voters aged 35–44 and 45–59. Faisal got 77.4% of the 186 votes from the 45–59 group.

With 1,812 votes, this is one of the smaller IFTA 2026 categories, so read the smaller groups (such as voters over 45) with care.

Voters aged 18–24 were the biggest group, and women cast 64% of all votes.
Women under 25 gave Prakash Raj 69% of its votes.

Women and men picked different winners

This category had more male voters than most: men cast 35% of the votes. Their first choice was Faisal Malik with 32.2%, and Chandan Roy was second with 25.0%. Prakash Raj got 9.2% of men’s votes but 28.6% of women’s.

  • Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub: 3.6% of women’s votes, 1.4% of men’s, 2.6 times as popular with women.
  • Rajat Bedi: 10.2% of women’s votes, 5.0% of men’s, about twice as popular with women.
  • Bobby Deol: 23.7% of women’s votes, 12.3% of men’s, about twice as popular with women.
  • Durgesh Kumar: 3.3% of women’s votes, 5.0% of men’s, 1.5 times as popular with men.

Across IFTA 2026

Panchayat Season 4 did win elsewhere: Sanvikaa was voted Most Popular OTT Actress in a Supporting Role. Bobby Deol, second here, and Rajat Bedi both came from The Ba***ds of Bollywood, which also led the men’s vote for Most Popular Web Series.

In the voters’ own words

Voters could add a reason with their vote. A few of them:

“Prakash raj special ops season 2 acting is awesome”

“Bohot achi acting karte hai”

“He is a good actor”

This is not a ratings chart or a critics’ list. It measures which audience turned up to vote, and how hard.
